Online registration for all students in pre-kinder through 12th grade who would like to attend any school in the Laredo Independent School District for the 2024-2025 school year begins Tuesday, April 2.
In order to initiate the online registration process, please visit the district’s website at www.laredoisd.org. and scroll down to the section “For Parents” and click on Online Registration. The registration process is available in both English and Spanish. Parents are required to have a Skyward Family Access portal account from the district to complete the process. If you have more than one child attending LISD schools, you will be able to register them all at the same time. The Skyward system is user-friendly with dropdown menus and timesaving features.
Should you need any assistance to register your children online or do not have access to a computer, please call (956) 273-1278 where trained staff will be available by phone to assist any parent who needs extra support with the registration process.
Students new to the district must provide proper residency documentation for registration purposes including the following documents:
Proof of residency/address (utility bills for gas, water, electricity...)
Parent Identification (Texas ID or Drivers’ License)
Student birth certificate
Immunization records (most recent)
Last report card/transcript (from previous school attended
Proof of guardianship (if applicable)
By enrolling online, parents will have access to their children’s grades, progress reports, attendance, and assignments throughout the school year.
The first day of classes for all students attending LISD schools is Monday, August 12, 2024.
