They mentioned their families, friends, wellness, achievements, and most importantly the love and support they received every day. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at LISD! LISD welcomed the holiday season with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony along with live performances by school cheerleaders, dance teams, bands, choir, and of course Santa Claus made a special appearance for the children..
Parents at Cigarroa High enjoyed a morning of Peaceful Painting. The Parent & Family Engagement Program, in collaboration with art teachers Mr. Juan Castillo, Mr. Richard Tellez, and SCAN, made this "Peaceful Painting with Parents" event a success. Parents learned great ways to reduce stress and received excellent art lessons.🎨
