Welcome Back, Bulldog Community! Dear Bulldog Families, Students, and Staff, Welcome back to another exciting school year at Cigarroa Middle School! I hope your summer was filled with rest, laughter, and special moments with family and friends. We are thrilled to welcome both returning and new Bulldogs as we begin another year of learning, growth, and success. As I reflect on last school year, I am incredibly proud of what our Bulldog community accomplished. Our students worked hard, our teachers and staff remained committed to providing the very best for every child, and our families continued to be valued partners in our journey. Together, we achieved great things through dedication, perseverance, and teamwork, and those successes have given us an even stronger foundation for the year ahead. This school year, Laredo ISD’s theme is “Breaking Barriers,” and it couldn’t be more fitting. At Cigarroa Middle School, breaking barriers means refusing to let circumstances define our potential. It means setting high expectations, embracing challenges, supporting one another, and believing that every student can achieve excellence. Every lesson learned, every goal reached, and every obstacle overcome is another barrier broken. As your principal, I remain committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, challenged, and inspired each day they walk through our doors. Together, we will continue building a culture where kindness, perseverance, and Bulldog Pride are evident in everything we do. I truly believe our best days are still ahead of us.
