Dear Colleagues,
 
     Welcome back to a very exciting and challenging school year.  It is great to be back home amongst old friends.  I have wonderful memories of my days at Cigarroa Middle...very productive years.  The 2007-2008 school year promises to be CMS most challenging year yet and I am excited about the opportunity to lead you as your new Principal.  Much was accomplished last year, and I am proud of all your hard work and effort.  It took a great deal of commitment and team effort to accomplish the gains you achieved.  However, we still have some way to go and we must continue to maintain our instructional focus in order to attain our goals.
     Together, you have learned much about your strengths and weaknesses and I, together with our administration and Master teaches are prepared to provide you with the guidance, resources and the support you need to accomplish our vision & to optimize student achievement. 
      I see every obstacle as a challenge and I have pledged to work closely with you to bring our campus to the status it belongs in...Exemplary!  With high-expectations, a positive attitude, unwavering commitment, and a structured academic plan that is responsive to the needs of our students, we will surely attain the results that have eluded us.
      This year we will teach daily with our vision in mind.  We must all embrace the challenge and prove to ourselves that there is no obstacle that we cannot overcome if we work in unison for the same goals.
Lets all face our challenge with a strong resolve to make this year the best ever at Cigarroa Middle!
